Key Responsibilities
- ✓ Serving as TSA's primary liaison to the Local Area airport authority, airline security managers, and law enforcement partners
- ✓ Participating in joint security planning meetings, tabletop exercises, and emergency response drills at Local Area
- ✓ Reviewing and providing TSA input on airport security programs, access control plans, and sterile area configurations
- ✓ Monitoring compliance of airport tenants and airline partners with federal security regulations (49 CFR Part 1542)
- ✓ Coordinating TSA communication during security incidents, terminal evacuations, or law enforcement actions
- ✓ Documenting and tracking security vulnerability findings and recommended corrective actions
- ✓ Supporting TSA's role in the Playbook and Security Directives applicable to Local Area operations
- ✓ Briefing TSA management and partner agencies on evolving threats and emerging security intelligence
- ✓ Managing TSA's relationships with Customs and Border Protection, FBI, and local law enforcement at Local Area
Requirements & Qualifications
- • U.S. citizenship
- • Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or related field, or equivalent experience
- • Minimum three years of TSA, federal law enforcement, or airport security operations experience
- • Active or adjudicatable Secret security clearance
- • Pass Security Threat Assessment and enhanced background investigation
- • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills for multi-agency coordination
Preferred Skills
- • Experience working with airport security programs under 49 CFR Part 1542
- • Prior experience in emergency management, intelligence coordination, or DHS partner agencies
